Photo-Phenomenology: Points of View. “In his ‘Philosophy of Photography,’ Vilém Flusser describes the photographer’s gesture as one of ‘phenomenological doubt.’ In the act of photographing, one approaches the object to be shot from as many viewpoints as possible and circles around it like a paleolithic hunter circles around his prey.
